Industrial Liaison Officer
Bridging Academia & Industry
The Industrial Liaison Office (ILO) serves as a vital cross-departmental hub, collaborating with Departmental Attachment Coordinators (DACs) to integrate practical industry experience into the academic journey.
Insurance & Safety
Safety is paramount. We facilitate comprehensive Personal Accident Insurance Covers for all trainees. Issued annually in January, May, or September, these covers remain valid for one year, ensuring our students are protected during their practical training.
Industrial Attachment
Mandatory for both Business and Technical tracks, students undergo a three-month intensive attachment. Our office provides Sourcing Letters to assist trainees in securing placements within relevant firms and organizations.
Assessment & Certification Process
- Placement & Assessment: Once attached, trainees are formally visited and assessed by institutional supervisors to ensure skill acquisition.
- Reporting: Upon completion, trainees submit their logbooks, industrial reports, and recommendation letters for evaluation.
- Recognition: The department issues Industrial Attachment Certificates to trainees who satisfy all assessment requirements.
