Mulango Technical and Vocational College (Mulango TVC) is a premier public TVET institution situated in Mulango, Kitui County, approximately 3 kilometers from the Kitui-Kibwezi Road. Originally founded as Mulango Vocational and Training Centre, the institution was established to bridge the gap in practical, skills-based education. Its inception was a strategic response to the growing demand for technical competencies, designed to empower the youth within the region and across the nation with market-ready expertise.
Since its founding, the College has undergone a significant transformation in both academic scope and institutional stature. Today, Mulango TVC offers a diverse array of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) programs. These range from artisan and craft certificates to advanced diploma courses in Engineering, Business, Computing, and various specialized technical disciplines. Each curriculum is meticulously tailored to align with contemporary industry demands, fostering an environment where innovation and practical application meet.
A defining milestone in the College’s journey occurred in 2022, when it was formally registered and licensed by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) under the TVET Act of 2013.
